Welcome!
Read my true-story psychological suspense novel, a chapter a week, for FREE.
I wrote a novel based on my personal experience with hearing voices (auditory hallucinations) and paranoia. The novel is called I Hear You Watching.
It’s a wild story in which the protagonist, Alex, suffers from the perfectly human worry that others might label him a “bad person.” This worry mutates into voices that confirm his worst fears. It doesn’t occur to him that the voices might be imaginary, so he jumps to the next logical conclusion—they’re his neighbors spying on him, bent on turning him into a monster. Alex embarks on a relentless quest to gather evidence, confront his persecutors, and ultimately take back his privacy!
Spoiler: it doesn’t go well.
The novel is already published in paperback and ebook form.

Or read it here on my Substack for free!
I’ll post a chapter every week, so as long as you don’t mind waiting between chapters, you can read the whole thing free of charge.
I wrote this book to share my experience with psychosis because it has the power to:
Entertain you. It’s hilarious and horrifying—often simultaneously.
Help readers with similar experiences feel less alone. Because you aren’t alone! We are surprisingly many!
Help readers who know someone with similar experiences understand what that person is going/went through.
Destigmatize conversations about mental health. Lift the rock, watch all the creepy crawlies scurry away, and let the stinky, moldy glop underneath get some fresh air and sunlight!
So let’s launch this little experiment! Come along for the ride.
