nice things people say about "I Hear You Watching"

(These compliments are all the more flattering because they’ve come from incredible authors. Be sure to check out their work too!)

A quote from the post "Zachary Dillon, Championed by Amanda Coreishy," which reads: A story based on a writer’s real experience of hearing voices doesn’t come along that often. When you see Zachary, thank him for the work he’s done with you towards reducing the shame society attaches to the experience of hearing voices. The shame keeps sufferers and the people who love them silent. I Hear You Watching steps into that silent gap and invites us all into the conversation.

Deliciously paranoid. An earthbound Philip K Dick. One of the most vivid and lacerating “slide into madness” novels I’ve ever encountered (and there’s a lot of those). Really honest and harrowing prose, but with a hint of slapstick humor buried in there somewhere.

A superbly crafted suspenseful yarn that takes us INSIDE the experience of someone who is hearing voices and suffering the doubts and agonies of unknowing.

It's a tense tale, full of uncanny turns and events, which will leave you in turns biting your nails, giggling and gasping in recognition: hey, maybe I'm just like this character I might otherwise brush off as a nutcase?!

It's a work of radical compassion and empathy and a fascinating read. Highly recommended.
